Privacy Notice

Effective Date: July 09, 2020

Nodabl, Inc. (“Nodabl,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this privacy notice to describe how we collect, use, share, and otherwise process the personal information of individuals who visit our website at or interact with other Nodabl services that link to this notice (collectively “Services”), including individuals who register for our Services (called “Members”) and individuals who interact or are invited to interact with a Member through the Services (called “Associates”). The same person may be both a Member and an Associate, or just one or the other. This privacy notice also covers our practices for individuals who have been invited to and are accessing a workspace set up and controlled by an organization, such as their employer, which has subscribed to one of our organization plans (“Organization”). This means that an individual can have access to multiple workspaces on the Services, including those controlled by an Organization. This privacy notice does not apply to any third-party services that you may choose to link to your Nodabl account. This privacy notice also does not cover what information an Organization may collect about you through the Services or other means, how an Organization may use this information, and who an Organization may share this information with. We are not responsible for an Organization’s own information practices, which are subject to the Organization’s rules and policies.

Information Collection

We will collect information you provide to us, including your name, address, email address, education history, employment information, professional performance and projects, and any other information you choose to provide us. For example, we collect information when you sign up for our Services as a Member, provide feedback in response to a request from a Member, or interact with us, our Members, or Associates in any other manner. When you create an account on our Services, we collect your log-in information, such as your username and password. If you use aspects of the Services that require payment, we will require payment card information from you. We utilize a third-party payment processor that collects this information, like your mailing address and other billing information, solely to process payments on our behalf. If you choose to link your Nodabl account to other third-party services, like your email and calendar services, we will exchange information with those third parties about you. When a Member interacts with Associates through the Services, we will collect any other information that the Associates provide about the Member.

Members can use the Services to interact with their Associates in various ways. We will collect information about Associates from Members or when you, as an Associate, engage with the Services. Members may provide us with information about Associates, such as names and email addresses. We may collect such information, for example, when a Member requests feedback from an Associate or invites an Associate to use our Services. Associates may also provide information when using the Services, such as by providing feedback on a Member.

We collect technical information when you use the Services including, but not limited to, browser type, IP address, pages visited and other activities on the Services, information about your other online activities, device type, and time and date of visit. We (or our third-party partners) may use cookies or similar technologies to collect such information for advertising and other purposes. See Nodabl’s Cookie Policy and the "Digital Advertising and Analytics” section of this privacy notice to learn more about the use of this information and the choices available to you.

We can collect personal information about you from third parties as permitted by law and combine it with any information collected from you or from Members and Associates.

Information Use
  • We use your personal information for various purposes, such as:

  • To provide the products or services you request and to provide related communications;

  • To contact you, including to respond to your inquiries or send you a request on behalf of a Member;

  • For business purposes, such as analytics, research, advertising and marketing, payment processing, and other operations;

  • To maintain, operate, customize, and improve the Services;

  • To communicate with you about products and services that may interest you;

  • To comply with law enforcement and maintain the security of our Services and Nodabl; or

  • As otherwise disclosed at the time of collection or use.

Information Sharing

We share personal information with third parties as follows:

  • With third parties that perform services on our behalf, such as those that provide customer service, marketing, and payment services;

  • With third parties that offer services you choose to link to your Nodabl account, which can then use or disclose the information according to their own privacy policies;

  • As part of an Organization’s ability to access all personal information about individuals collected through the Organization’s workspace;

  • As part of an actual or potential sale, merger or acquisition, or other transfer of all or part of our assets including as part of a bankruptcy proceeding;

  • Pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, in response to a law enforcement request, as otherwise required or requested by law, regulation, or government authority programs, or to protect our rights or the rights or safety of third parties; or

  • With your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time of data collection or sharing.

We may share information that has been de-identified or aggregated without restriction.

Some parts of the Services allow you to interact with other Members or with your Associates who are not Members (such as by sending or responding to feedback requests) or to participate in public forums. When you participate in these features, the information that you provide will be available to other Members and Associates and/or the general public.

Digital Advertising and Analytics

We may partner with third parties that serve ads on behalf of us and others on or via non-affiliated platforms (“Advertising Providers”). Some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information Advertising Providers collect about your use of the Services and other sites or apps over time, including information about relationships among different browsers and devices. This type of advertising is known as interest-based advertising.

US individuals can visit and EU individuals can visit to learn more about interest-based advertising and how to opt out of this advertising on browsers by companies participating in industry self-regulatory programs. If you delete your cookies or use a different browser or computer, you will need to renew your opt-out choice.

Some browsers or operating systems may also offer tools to limit data collection for interest-based advertising. Note that electing to opt out will not stop advertising from appearing in your browser. It may make the ads you see less relevant to your interests. Even if you opt out, Advertising Providers may continue to collect data for other purposes, including analytics and other operational purposes.

Nodabl uses Google Analytics, including Google Analytics Advertising features such as Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, and additional integrated Google services that require Google Analytics to collect data for advertising purposes such as Google Ads, Ad Exchange, Campaign Manager, Search Console, and BigQuery, and other third-party services to improve the performance of the Services and for analytics, advertising, and marketing purposes. These services gather website usage information and may be combined with other data we collect about a user’s visit to our site. For more information about how Google Analytics collects and uses data when you use our Services, visit, and to opt out of Google Analytics, visit

Third-Party Links and Tools

The Services may provide links to third-party websites or apps, including social media pages. We do not control the privacy practices of those websites or apps, and they are not covered by this privacy notice. You should review the privacy notices of other websites or apps that you use to learn about their data practices.

The Services may also include integrated social media tools or “plug-ins,” such as social networking tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools to share personal information or you otherwise interact with these features on the Services, those companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with us and the general public. Your interactions with third-party companies and your use of their features are governed by the privacy notices of the companies that provide those features. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy notices of any accounts you create and use.

Please be aware that the personal information we collect may be transferred to and maintained on servers or databases located in the United States or elsewhere outside your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction, where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your location. • Where we previously obtained your consent, to withdraw consent to processing your personal information.

Nodabl has committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield inquiries to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the U.S. If you do not receive timely acknowledgement of your inquiry from us, or if we have not addressed your Privacy Shield inquiry to your satisfaction, please visit for more information or to file a complaint. This is provided at no cost to you.

Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website noted above, you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.

We will process and store your information as long as needed to achieve the purpose of the storage, or as permitted by law. Specifically, we will retain Member information as long as the individual remains a Member with an open account. After a Member account is closed, Member information will be retained for five years after closure of the account. Information from Associates and other website visitors will be retained in accordance with our data retention policy. After expiration of that period, the corresponding information is routinely deleted, as long as it is no longer necessary for record-keeping, contracting, or other legal compliance purposes. Information in a Member account about other individuals (such as Associates or other Members) is treated as Member information, to the extent permitted by law.

Updating Information and Other Choices

If you would like to update your Nodabl account information, you can log into your account and make the desired changes.

If you as a Member would like to delete your Nodabl account, you can contact us as described below to request deletion. We may continue to keep certain information for record-keeping and other business purposes. For example, where you have provided information to the Services through interactions with other Members or Associates, the information in those Members’ or Associates’ accounts will be maintained.

If you do not want to receive marketing emails from us, you can “unsubscribe” using the mechanism provided in each email. We will continue to send you emails related to our relationship and transactions with you.
